Wow, what an unbelievable night we had on October 8th 2011. Playing at the Kings Hall in Stoke-on-Trent was something that was talked about for a long time amongst our friends. When the band first got going we had an idea to put on an all-day festival there that we could play, along with about 10-15 different acts. Once we had the idea to put on our own show, there is no denying that we had a few butterflies. It's been a great year for us so we were confident of half-filling the place, especially after our sell-out show at The Underground back in May. Before we went on, Steve the promoter came in to the dressing room and confirmed that there were over 1,000 people waiting for us outside. Excitement isn't the word...

Stoke-on-Trent has been good to us in a lot of ways and it's also knocked us down at times too. Growing up here has been great as we know so many great people and have many dear friends. Since 2003 and the Agent Blue years, being a young lad in a band hasn't been as exciting as it once was. We had so much fun watching that group rise to a fully functional touring outfit. The buzz was insane and although it didn't amount to what we wanted it to, Stoke-on-Trent had a music scene for a few years as a result. We really hope that our gig encourages young bands in the city and kicks off something like that again. I mean, what's better than throwing lager at your mates whilst jumping around to your favourite band?

We feel comfortable on a stage like this and we want to do it again, not just in Stoke but all over the U.K. Over-produced and over-tuned commercial music has ruled the airwaves for too long now. We want to get some real songs on the radio again. Will you join us?!
